Introduction
Summer is almost over, so we should enjoy the hot weather with ice cream. In my case, I keep anticipating making my first YouTube video on tasting as many vegan mint chip ice creams as possible. Sadly, that’ll have to wait a while longer.
In the meantime, let’s study our ice cream flavors and make some vegan ice cream today, including but not limited to the following.
- Mexican Hot Chocolate Ice Cream
- Peach Ice Cream Bars
- Ice Cream Snickers
- Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream
- Mango Ice Cream
1. Mexican Hot Chocolate Ice Cream
At New Pioneer Co-op, I had the best brownies ever: Mexican brownies. They had a nice combo of sweetness and spiciness. Since we’re talking more about ice cream than brownies, try this Mexican hot chocolate ice cream from Dora’s Table.
If this sounded good, check out my blog posts on vegan Mexican recipes and vegan hot cocoa.
2. Peach Ice Cream Bars
I keep seeing huge boxes of peaches at Hy-Vee, which look so good. Then, I remember that there is no way I can eat a 16-pound box of peaches by myself without wasting most of it.
I could eat some peaches by making some peach ice cream bars with the help of Thank You Berry Much, or I could make these peach recipes.
3. Ice Cream Snickers
My dad is a huge fan of Snickers, especially the ice cream ones. Try some vegan ice cream Snickers from Minimalist Baker.
If you have a sweet tooth like my dad, you may like learning about some vegan-friendly candy brands and making vegan candy recipes.

Mochi is one of the best desserts ever. Grab your favorite vegan vanilla ice cream to create some strawberry mochi ice cream from The Korean Vegan.

I should buy frozen mango more often than fresh ones because I’m not good at telling which ones are ripe versus spoiled versus overripe.
If you have some frozen mango chunks, try this mango ice cream recipe from Jessica in the Kitchen.
6. Blue Moon Ice Cream
If you’re from the Midwest, you’ll probably recognize blue moon ice cream invented in Wisconsin. Make vegan blue food coloring to create this blue moon ice cream from Simply Whisked.

One of the top rules of cooking and baking is to make these activities fun instead of chores. In this case, Feasting on Fruit used various colors to make these ice cream bars exciting and neat.
8. Biscoff Ice Cream
I’m surprised how many vegan desserts are made out of Biscoffs. For example, here is some Biscoff ice cream from Rainbow Nourishments.

29. Dippin’ Dots
My youngest brother said a college student stole some Dippin’ Dots from the local waterpark. Since they were initially in a -50°F freezer, they melted and got frozen again. By the time that guy started handing the Dippin’ Dots out at a party, the Dippin’ Dots were super hard.
