Introduction
Corn is the most popular produce in Iowa, so well-known that we have a corn song. With all of the fresh corn stands along the sides of the road, I felt the need to share some ideas on what you can do with corn in your cooking, whether fresh, frozen, or canned.
Here are some vegan corn recipes worth trying today, including but not limited to the following:

1. Taco Salad

Growing up, a couple of my siblings sometimes made shepherd’s pie during the colder months, but I never tried it due to having too much texture variation with the mashed potatoes being cooked on top of veggies and ground beef.

Corn is a great veggie to add to your dishes because it can work in most cooking applications. I’m unsure what you can bake with corn beyond cornstarch, cornmeal, and corn syrup.
