Introduction
I’ve been to some apple orchards over the past few months. The first one was in Wisconsin while exploring Prairie du Chien and some of Iowa’s state parks. The other was near Galena, Illinois, and we went there on our family day trip to see my older brother and his wife.
Whether you have a local apple orchard nearby or not, plenty of fresh apples at grocery stores work for apple slices, baked goods, and whatever else you want to do with them.
